searanger 44 48/50

Hi everyone.

Mr Magoo is still in St Peter Port - under new ownership since the summer of 2018 after the previous owner sadly died. I visited her then and she was in super condition. A real gem.

I've now tracked down all 9 SeaRangers, I think. The last boat (built 2007) is currently for sale in Scotland (Largs). If I didn't already have Bootlegger, I would be up there like a shot. As it is, I am tempted by newer bigger engines and a more up to date boat, but for the sums I've invested in my current boat, she's a heck of a boat for the money. Only wish we'd managed to get more use out of her this year.

I like to occasionally resurrect this thread (as you will know), but its a useful place for those interested in the SeaRanger 448/50 models to come and learn a bit more - or at least, identify those who know a bit about the boats.

To help with this further, I've created a Facebook Group - SeaRanger 448 & 50 motor yachts. Please feel free to join and promote it to others.

My intention is to use it as a knowledge base for the marque and its development over time, to promote boats coming up for sale and to track the small fleet.

Don't worry, I'll still be posting on here from time to time - normally when something goes wrong and I'm scratching my head!
