I would like to add a second battery to my seamaster 815.

I believe that some boats were fitted with a second battery and a fridge as a factory fitted option.

I would be interested if anyone knows where the second battery and fridge were fitted.

Also any advice from other owners who may have made the upgrade themselves.

don't imagine you will find too many Seamaster owners here but have you tried the Seamaster Club. Painfully slow at responding somethimes, I know.

Mine has 2 x 85AH batteries mounted in plastic carriers at the forward end of the cockpit locker. The framing for the boxes looks original. This location gives a short cable run to a changeover switch on the bulkhead. Can't help so much with the fridge- never seen one fitted in an 815. However, a previous owner had a ccolbox in the bottom half of the galley cupboard.
