Just got back from Palma having crewed a T60 with Sealine to the Palma boat show. Got some pictures on the web page (below) if you are interested , take a look. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There's been a few discussions on these forums recently on the T60's radar arch.
I was at Saxon Wharf at the end of last week and there were two examples - on with the older forward facing and another with the more conventional rear facing arch.

I must say that I think that the older forward facing seems more practical but the rear facing looks more streamlined.

I took some pics to try and show the difference.

Hello hurricane. i confess to NOT being a radar arch expert but, the 60 i was on had the rear arch which allowed for a full length bimmi cover on the fly. the forward arch only allows for the rear section to be shaded.............i stand to be corrected......yer pays yer money n makes yer choice.

I saw a forward-facing one yesterday but nothing like seeing them together to spotlight that the forward-looking reminds me of a deck-chair that hasnt been put up properly.

The rearward-facing just doesn't look as if its going to collapse.

As you say .. pays your money ....

I think the rear facing one will be only available for the Conran Aura
forgetting the practicality I do prefare this new version much better, which as Hurricane says give a pleasant modern stream lined effect
on the other the original T60 and worse IMO on the T50 with there forward radar arch do look a bit like 2 different puzzled boats joined togather....
