Sealine SC29 - Discountinued for 2011?

Sitting at home tonight flicking through the 2011 price list I got from Sealine at SIBS today there is a boat missing from it's pages - the SC29. Have Sealine decided to pull the plug (sorry) on it and concentrate on their larger models? It is still on the Sealine website as part of the range but is seems odd not to be in the price list which contains every other model.

I'm not after one - it's the SC35 that interests us - but I think it's a shame if they have dropped it as Sealine have been the only mainstream Brit builder still producing sub 30' boats and will mean none of them make anything sub 35'. It seems they are leaving that part of the UK market wide open to the Americans, Jeanneau, Beneteau etc.

As FlowerPower say's it has been dropped, but the Sealine chap on the stand did say they were looking at bringing out a new 30ft boat.

Seems strange they would drop the SC29 before it comes out though.

It does seem strange they've dropped it before launching the new model. The SC29 styling was always a bit of an acquired taste, and with some of the newer HT designs from Beneteau, Jeanneau etc around that size looking more cohesive, perhaps sales had dropped to the point it wasn't worth continuing to build, esp when the undoubtedly much more profitable SC35 is selling as fast as they can make them. I was enquiring about these and all slots for this year are sold and just was one was remaining for January'; not bad for what is now a three year old model.

SC35: Hull number 210 on display.

As you say, pretty good going for a model that has only been around for three years.
