With him coming from Brum , would he not have a Yam -Yam

Yam Yams are North of Brum, we are in the posh end in Solihull

So the next question is what oil do I put in it? Have read somewhere that Volvo no longer offer it.

Over time bow thrusters build up a lot of crud at the bottom. This will eventually lead to failure. Suggest you schedule in a drain and refill when next out of the water. There are some good YouTube instructions

Thanks Momac, unfortunately out of stock, they were decanting it into litre bottles.
I ended up having to buy 20 litres of Castrol Alpha sp 150, so I am OK for the next 80 years or so.

Have to do it every month to try and use it up before the boat disintegrates.

Firstly, Thankyou to everyone who has assisted so far.

I have now removed the drawer and found the bow thruster and reservoir, I can confirm that it is a QL BP 600

Does anyone know what type and size the drain plug seal is and is there anything special about it?
The original part number was 41100760
Oil is turning up this week so hopefully I will change the oil this weekend.
