Sealine S29

[ QUOTE ]
I saw that but thought it was too small for a bin, which it is really.
Larger on the S25

Bin on the 29 IS bigger than the 25.

I had/have both boats.
Bin is actually a nice carrier bag size so you dont put too much it in and leave it for too long.

Isn't this one on the options list?

heh - I wasn't actually sure what it was (other than it looked Sealine-ish with a bin /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif).

Was spotted not far from Willemstad though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I met the chap in Weymouth a couple of weeks ago who had put the offer on the Shepherds boat. He said it had a D6 though?

Either way, canopies and Volvo aside not a bad boat. Doug has had more problems than I have with mine, but overall I'm happy with it.

how was CI trip?

Doug

The guy who originally put the offer in at Shepherds backed out, so the boat is available again.
Not too sure about dealing anymore with Shepherds, their customer service is cra* and that is being kind.
I still have a cooker on the S25 that gives off yellow flames, (carbon monoxide)3 weeks ago I was promised a change of cooker under warranty. Still has not turned up. And they have not fixed any of the faults with the boat, after buying the boat brand new 6 months ago. Is this normal?? Or should i contact Sealine. I have been into Shepherds over 6 times complaining but just get fobbed off.

Dont know about Shepherds.
I bought through Burton Waters who have been superb.

The problem ALWAYS lies with Sealine.
Or Volvo if its an engine problem

I honestly believe they dont think any of their boats have any faults when they leave the factory.
And the first guy they sent to do some snagging....well he should have left his horse in the corall at the marina entrance. Remember the guy who used to do that silly 3-2-1 trick with his hands. So much bull$hit!

If the cooker is faulty and giving off carbon monoxide I would tell them you are calling in HSE. See how quickly they might react then. Send a fax to Shepherds and a copy direct to Sealine.

What other faults do you have? Leaking canopies perchance?

Another forumite set up a web site for Sealine owners.
perhaps we should set up a web site for disgruntled Sealine owners.
what should we do if we end up with more members?

Keep pestering and pestering and pestering.

Doug

I hope that you are right, and it is more Sealine than Shepherds, but when you spend this amount of money you should get first class customer service.
Afterall we all have these for pleasure, and not for generating stress!!
