I have a 2000 sealine. S28 with no trim tabs , I want to get some fitted can anyone recommend a make and size also do they really make a difference, I have cad 32,s .

any advice appreciated .

Sealine tended to fit Eltrim units. I have got spares in the past from Trinkett Marine.
I’ve had 3 Sealines (not an S28) and never needed them to get up on the plane but useful to straighten up if you have a stiff side on wind or people just in undistributed positions

S28 really does need trim tabs. I'm surprised yours doesnt have them, maybe a previous wher took them off for some reason.
Starting from scratch, I would give Eltrim a miss. The electric motors are in the water and subject to water damage.
Personally I would fit some good old hydraulic tabs from the likes of Bennett. Make sure you get a display that indicates their position and if they do auto, get that. If they dont do auto, I would get a mente marine auto system to upgrade them.

The only way for water to get in is when the rubber gaiters perish with age and fail. I replace mine every 4 years probably best to replace every 2 years to be absolutely safe.

I get that, but Bennetts and the like don't have this requirement, and just work without regular maintenance and additional cost. I have had Eltrim tabs fail, also Volvo tabs that also have their motors under the water. I am speaking from expensive experience.
