Bit PBO'ish but does anyone know how to lift the floor (carpeted) in the cabin to get to the holding tank. I need to clean the sender (I've tried the white vinegar trick).

Sealine say it's a tight fit but I've huffed and I've puffed but I can't shift the blasted thing. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Cheers

Andrew

Look for the holding tank sender on a 23 and gave up a year ago, I think you might have to remove the carpet and then the floor and hopefully find some screws under the carpet.

Good Luck

Oh gawd!

The guy at Sealine didn't tell me it might be screwed down??

Isn't the carpet glued to the floor? They wouldn't screw down and then glue carpet on top would they?

Or does it mean that all S23's go around with the holding tank full indicator always lit?

might be an idea if you need to get at this item in the future to buy one of those white circular inspection hatch thingies.normally about 18" across.Very easy to install in floor with jigsaw and the rim covers up any less than perfect jigsaw cutting on your part.quick twist then reveals all in future.Installed one over a troublesome fuel sender unit in an old Regal.Floor had been bonded in an then carpet stapled down on top for good measure.
