The horn on my S24 has rusted behind the stainless steel casing, it looks like Sealine don't supply horns suitable for the marine environment.

Has any of you had a similar problem and can recommend a supplier?

Thanks.

Mine did the same, easy fix, available online or from most chandlers, remove the center downlighter for access to the pushfit connectors.

10 min job tops.

I thought you could just unscrew it from the outside and replace it providing it is a similar unit, no need to remove the down light, or am I missing something?

Thanks.

Should be wired via a two pin Takbro connector, behind the light unit. All the Sealines had pre-made cable harnesses, and all equipment was connected using 2 - 15 way Takbro / JST (automotive type) connectors.

The horn obviously has to be removed by unscrewing it from the outside, but you need to remove the center downlight to access the wiring harness connections.

I seem to remember the wires on mine were soldered on underneath the covers to the black circular (rusty) bits. A pair of scissors worked for disconnection, and a gas-powered soldering iron worked for reconnection to the new ones.

A gentle and steady "tug" on the wires should get you a bit more wire to work with without having to disturb the fitting or the headlining...
