Spottydog3, I had a 410 which was actually badged a F43 by the factory but there wasn't much difference, only in the size of the bathing platform. I agree with the others. This is one of the best boats that Sealine have ever made. I don't think they got enough credit for the excellent aft cabin/aft cockpit design. You've heard the good things about this boat from others but I think there are a few weak areas. The doorway to the aft cabin is narrow and once you are in the aft cabin, head and shoulder room is tight for anyone over 5' 10" or so. The generator lives under the bed so running the gennie with anyone in bed is a no no. We thought the gloss cherrywood finish quite fragile. Ours was easily scratched. The only other thing I could criticise is that the cockpit itself is not particularly secure for kids as the handrails are v low
My boat had TAMD63P 370hp engines and these suited the boat v well. Plenty of power and an easy 30kts. However I chartered a newer F43 last year fitted with 370hp D6 engines and I was surprised how noisy they were. They're a much higher revving less relaxed engine than the 63P
The flip side of locating the genny under the bed, is that it's virtually silent from outside. On our T46 you could only hear it on the stillest days in very quiet anchorages.
Thanks for all the posts, the consensus is,this is a GOOD boat, really helpful comments- Thank you all.
The good news I made (and they accepted) my offer today, so subject to survey I look forward to a new " baby"
