Sealine F33 versus Princess 360 - which wins and why?

Actual Gps figures.

For futher consideration as to the speed of the boat,my chum has got a Fairline Brava which is virtually the same LOA weight and volume and vintage as the P360 you are interested in.On a recent trip round into the Medway after it being on the Thames for a year or so,with full water, fuel and assorted junk to keep 4 bods aboard happy,it achieved 25knots (just) poss with with a bit of tide either way.
This boat started out and spent most of its life in Majorca and proved more than capable down there with its pair of 230 Hp engines under taking some long trips..

Just my understanding that could be wrong but the Brava is closer to a Corniche with an integral bathing platform. LOA 36ft

The Princess 36 is closer to 40ft overall and is much bigger ( I think).

regardless
twin 230 in a P360 will not power cruising on the plane.
twin 260 will just about make a 17 knot cruise in perfect conditions lightly loaded and clean hull.
perfect boat for studland weekends from poole with an annual trip to the solent but no good for regular sea work , but the cost of diesel sort of puts that out of fashion anyway.

Both the P360 and the Brava weigh virtually the same at 8.3 tonnes.
Loa is 38ft on the P360 and depending on which website you believe twixt 37 or 38 ft on the Brava.Beam is virtually the same on both boats.
Suspect the hull profile is not that much different either .
Wonder why the top speed is 10 knots adrift ?

A Princess will always be more of a boat. OK it wont have made every locker space into a bedroom. A Princess is much more built for using, than sat in a marina.

So, if you want to go anywhere, you need a Princess. Though with fuel costs as they are, you need to take account of it..
