Hi!

Anyone here that can give me a ballpark figure in liters/nm on the fuel consumption on the Sealine 450 equipped with TAMD71 and TAMD72, also, the extra HP in TAMD72, what does that make for cruise and WOT speeds?

I've seen cruise at around 20-21 knots and WOT as 30 knots with the TAMD71 engine options.

From the Saaline 450 owners manual:
RPM / Speed / LPH(GPH)
1100 / 9 / 10.1(2.22)
1400 / 10.25 / 19.3(4.25)
1700 / 13.6 / 29(6.37)
2000 / 21 / 37.5(8.19)
2300 / 25.5 / 49.4(10.86)
2600 / 31 / 78(17.1)

Figures per engine (71B) and will vary depending on boat weight and sea conditions.

We normally cruise at about 1900, which with a clean bottom shows about 17kts and about 17gph....have never seen 31knts, best we've ever had was 27knts.

I would think 31knts was with spanking new boat with empty water tanks and 1/4 fuel? We normally start with full fuel and full water tanks....

Hi I would think you will get 0.8 mpg at a reasonable cruise speed of 24knots, anything faster than that it will drop slightly more, you might get a little more depending on weight on board.
