hI I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A SEALINE 328 WITH RECENT NEW AD41P ENGINES AND DP DRIVES.

She is currently fitted with new C4 stainless props but I would like to know what the origoinal A series props are for the boat. Her histoty seems to show that she has been run on B ersies "petrol" engine props. My belief is that she should using A5's (if ally props) if anyone can shed some light on this i would appreciate your advice, as I may look to put the correct ally props on her.

If you are currently getting the full rated RPMs with C4's, I would say that A4's would be the way to go.

Have not yet run the boat at speed so cant really answer that but looking at the vp prop guide it seems likely that it will top out at between 27-30 Knotts. The origional boat spec and boat tests all indicate 32-34 knotts so I was interested if the C4's are just a bit shy on pitch.
 
In that case I would not do anything until you have had a chance to give it a run. Engines reaching their full RPM is more important than top speed. If the engines are down on RPM then A3 may be the way to go. If they are over revving then A5. I originally had an A5 on my KAD32 but it only reached 3600. Changed it to C4 and now revs to 3800. Top speed went from 29 to 30 knots.

Remember with an older boat you are unlikely to reach the original top speed as considerable weight will have been added over the years and the engine won't be producing quite the same HP as it was when new.
