Morning all

firstly I would like to apologise if this is in the wrong area .
my name is mark and im New to the forum .
I have a sealine 290 Haven’t had it that long and still geting to grips with it . Went down to start her the other morning . Port fired up. Instantly. Starboard sounded a little slow on turning over. . Tryed the link switch and there was no click From the solenoid And no extra power so I’m assuming it dose not work .
my problem is I have no clue where it is or what it looks like . So I can fix / replace .

once again sorry if this is in the wrong place .

thanks

mark

Thanks for the info . I’m assuming test will Be easy so will have a play when I get back tonight . Thanks again

It will look something like this:

Durite - Solenoid Starter Replaces 76731 12 volt - 0-335-05 5053557444358 | eBay

It will probably be close to your batteries and will have some chunky cables connected to the two big terminals.

Assuming it's still original, the relay ( similar to the old Mini starter solenoid ) is powered via two diodes in the bardriver module, ( allows starting from either engine battery ) the link switch on the helm panel goes to negative to complete circuit.

It may be the relay, but could be cabling problem, if you need more data / pin numbers for the plugs come back.

Don,t buy that one its grossly overpriced and only rated at 50 amps

Yeah, to be fair I was only using that one as an example of what it might look like. It certainly wasn't a recommendation to buy. I hadn't even looked at the price and specs, just posted something that looked similar to what I have on my similar era Sealine.

Well oddly the one that I have fitted is that one
