Hi can any one help, we had a fuel problem this W/E had to blow out lines and filters all clean but for a small bead of gell like substance.
Do any of you have any idea what it is ?

Soltron

Yep certainly do. Claudiosporum reinae I would suspect but without seeing or testing it I cant say for sure.

Best to double dose your fuel mixture with Soltron i.e. 1:2500 then 1:5000 after that. For recent reference PM Burgundyben who had similar problem.

Re: Soltron

Best to do a search and take in the comments from the americans as thy do have a better site than Ireland have provided so far.

www.soltron.co.uk

As I said do a search or ask someone who has had the bug and cured it like burgundyben last one her that I know of that did that.

Re: Soltron

Sluttyron. Kleen fuel is the only answer, all these fuel additives will have a bad effect over a period of time. Its the acid content in them, wears out injectors and stuff much more quickly. Use them only when you rally need them. Drain the tanks over winter ad steam them out. works out cheaper in the long run

Re: Soltron

cheap doesnt always mean effective, sometimes it comes back at least with Soltron you know its gone and aint coming back but can you guarantee that your bug free by steaming the tanks? I dont think so!
