Hi,

I was wondering if anybody has had any success in putting anti seagull spikes (or similar) on top of a satellite dome?

The domes are very thin and flexible and so attaching anything to the surface must not cause it to flex (and possibly crack) if a seagull flies into it.

My satellite dome is at the top of my mast and there is no possibility of hanging anything over it from above unfortunately.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Ian

There is a company that makes a very thin spike, no thicker than a big paperclip which is welded to a flat base plate, used on top of CCTV camera casings. Not sure who makes them but they are very effective. Annoying when you're up a pole trying to work on one but there was no bird poo on the floor below the cameras!

Maybe try a few CCTV suppliers?
