Apologies if this has been done before, but I couldn't find anything worthwhile via search. Some Seagull has c*****d on the boat and I cannot get the remaining stain off the non-slip GRP. Generally, it comes off with a wash or some spray deck cleaner etc., but not this time.

Any tips on what to use?

Magic sponge with Cillit Bang, if necessary, have worked for me.

Maybe we should train the Torquay seagulls to fly upside down, like they are supposed to do over Budleigh Salterton

Thanks all. Will have a go with some BSR. Rubber snakes eh.... might be worth a try

Rubber snaes kept the seagulls off the decks, but attracted the oicks who knicked 'em within a few weeks of getting a quayside berth rather than a mid-river one!

Oh, & snakes didn't keep the shitty gulls off my mizzen mast either as it is waaay above the deck.

I've tried the rubber snakes trick and it doesn't work. Now they're play toys for my grandchildren. It works for maybe a week, then the friggin' gulls figure out they're not moving and start up s****ting all over again.

You might try a product called "Roll Off". It seems to work on most everything. It really cuts in and it's biodegradable.
