Seagull Engines...I quote from the PBO

Good that we have journalists with the facts at their finger tips.

I've had three. They all started easily and ran reliably. I wonder where the other 1347 that don't work are?

Better make that 2694 - my three are all working......

Even better quote from the UPC broadband guy looking at my slow speed, on the phone to the guy at the server end. "No, it's not a laptop issue". pause "It's a Mac."

In this case: "No, it's not a poor starting issue, it's a Seagull"

Cannibalised, you gotta eat them?
Surely they mean barstadized. Had to stick an "r" or only the ized printed

".....there is a chance that if you cannibalised 450 Seagulls you might end up with one that actually works - except when you need it to"
Horrible noisy oily smoky things, but the two I've had (one 40+ bought new, one ancient Century) were the most reliable mechanical things I've ever had. Both ALWAYS started easily, and would run all day if they had to, stopping only to refill tank a few times.
