hi can anyone tell me what the lowest tep i can antifoul with seago high performance it seems a shame in this dry weather not to get out and do it now!

also does anyone know the max time it has 2 be immersed in?

I would expect the details for International AF to be typical for solvent based antifoulings.

Ambient temp and product temp between minus 5C and 35C but with the condition that the substrate temperature must be at least 1°C above the dewpoint. Drying times will be extended.

I'd expect the immersion time to be similar as well. 3 months for International at 5 to 15C

Your numb fingers will be the main problem I suspect

Ask Seago to provide you with the "Material Data Sheet" and the "Material Safety Data Sheet"

International and I believe Blakes make all this info available on their websites. Other reputable manufacturers should do the same. By law the supplier should be able to provide you with the Safety Data Sheet

Technically as an end user, I don't think there's a requirement to make the MSDS available. That's a very specific document controlled by a bunch of international legislation, and AFAIK MSDSs are only required under very specific circumstances.

You may be right about the MSDS but I think the COSHH regulations impose a duty on the supplier to provide the user with safety info of some sort. Well away from it all now but I can remebmer when some suppliers started sending piles of safety info.

Anyway its a product data sheet that should give all the info about using the stuff,
from surface prep to drying times and maximum immersion times.

Should not use B&Q emulsion below 0C /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
