I have a Seago 2.6 with an aerodeck and inflating keel. It recently developed a slowish puncture in the aerodeck. I think the hole is near the circular hole which provides access to the valve for the inflating keel. I recently bought some glue for another repair to the tubes (lifeline holders) and was wondering what I could use as a patch. I think the floor is PVC. I may well have a hypalon patch lying around somewhere. Would the glue I have for the tubes be useable with a hyplon patch?

Thanks

You should find all the info and intructions on the Polymarine website.

Preferably use a PVC patch and the two part adhesive for PVC after cleaning and priming with the PVC solvent cleaner.

IIRC you can use the Hypalon patch but only after it is coated with the Hypalon adhesive. The PVC adhesive is till need to stick the prepared Hypalon patch to the PVC.

BUT I may have remebered that incorrectly .. I may even have it ass-about-face but you ceratinly cannot just use the Hypalon patch with the PVC adhesive

I assume I read it on the Polymarine website ... somewhere very recently.
