For the start of Burnham Week, we will be gathering on Friday evening at 8pm at the Royal Corinthian for a Seafood Supper including a glass of Corinthian Sunset (whatever that is) which is £9.95 a head.
We have the crew of Full Circle,
Mr/Mrs FC
D3B
Dave H

and also
Mr/Mrs Summer Solstice

Any other takers as I will be booking the table shortly?

More tall tales of Ramsgate Week elsewhere....

Yes, he got a right result in the handicap lottery. He should have been the same as the MG335, but he did sail it very well in the week anyway.
We are happy that we beat the Moody 346, but in fairness they had a breadmaker on board.
We were also glad to have beaten the MG335 3 times from 6.

Our light airs performance was, shall we say, sluggish.

I expect BR and crew will attend. Will let you know numbers when I know for sure.

Thanks for top week at Ramsgate. Will take me at least four days to recover, then I shall have to go through it all over again, but this time in my little boat. Eeek!

I know you want it to blow, but I'm praying for lighter stuff or I'll be scared s%%tless!

I am planning on arriving in Still Dunno as the weather looks fantastic for mobo's but $hite for sailing........I hope the course will be tide efficient as I get dizzy going backwards on the tide /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Right....

Now I've said the weather is going to be good for mobo's I shall pack the oilies and hope you have a berth available as the weather will change so badly by the weekend i will not be anywhere near my boat....

BTW.....Curry Cottage owe me a courtesy..... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Matt, its about 50 miles, and you really need the flood up the Wallet/Cross the Swin Spitway/Into the Crouch, so I would suggest a stop off in the Walton Backwaters or Harwich to get a fair run at it after coming out of the Deben.

We will probably pass as I have promised to compensate my temporary landlord for the weekend in curry on friday night.

Is there only Seafood SWMBO does not do things that swim, things that crawl in shells maybe but not the swimmy things so if there is an alternative that involves things with hoofs or wings then save us two spaces.

There was mention of a BBQ on the wall is that still on?

Is there a dress code for this salubrious event....
Is one expected to where one's Club tie with Blue Blazer /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Can one wear casual trousers and shirt /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

or

Is one expected to get really Chaved up /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

One Must Have Standards /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No Roger, they do mean Chips. Not those stiff thin fellows of foreign origin.
Standards not only maintained, but stiffened in Beef Lard no doubt.

Because the recipe for the Mussels has been ripped off from Johnny Foreigner, but the Chips are proudly British.
Gives the event an international flavour, non?
