Spent an interesting couple of hours on boat yesterday measuring and photographing rusty taps and heads fittings and the 8 Seacocks.
Boat was heeling in the 40 kits gusts and that was in the marina. Glad I was not out in it.
Measured the through hull fixings with callipers and related them to tables for BSP size. Identified replacements from ASAP website and valves then came unstuck! 6 of the Seacocks have a right angle bend which is male thread into Seacock but female other end to allow exact size for a hose tail to be threaded in. ASAP only have rt angle bends male straight to a hose tail and hose tails are limited to 19, 25, 32 &38 and the fittings don't look impressively secure little bulge on a short tube for hose. Also every rt angle tail seemed to need a reducer as hose size appeared one size too small for BSP valve size.
I measured the sink outlet (to get hose I/D) as 21!! If I look at straight male to hose tail connections there seem to be a good variety and they do not need reducers!
Ideally like to get all fitting sorted before lift out so think I will get rt angles male to female but how can I get internal hose size. No ends are exposed enough all fully seated down with 2 SS clips.
Looking for rubber hose I/D for 75hp yanmar cooling off an 1" BSP, Galley sink off a 1.25 BSP, heads sink outlets that seem 21 at sink end and toilet in/shower pump out off a 0.75bsp. Heads out are easy as hose is marked 38.1 I/D !
Anyone know these hose I/DS for a Jeanneau sun odyssey 43'
Thanks
