Seabird sold..

Sea trial done today, beautiful day on the Solent, boat performed as she should.


So no longer a 2 boat owner, some relief & mixed feelings, I really loved that boat.


So to cheer myself up I then went to port Solent and fiddled about on Tulana for a couple of hours, realised what I now have is double the size of my old Hardy... And looks like a proper bruiser in comparison!

Actually very happy indeed, but odd really as I hadn't even thought about changing Seabird a few month ago.

Being on the water today on Seabird was superb, it's so strange you can feel so much for an innanimate object.

Definitely a plus one on this comment, but even without seeing the picture of the new boat I had a sneaking suspicion it was going to be fairly immaculate to warrant Firefly buying it in the first place, he doesn't really do untidy

Lovely boat, we also sold our boat today. Taking her round to Swanwick tomorrow to say goodbye.

New boat is being collected next Friday so just avoided the 2 boat club.

Make sure you pop over for a drink when you get to mercury, we're on C 37 from Friday

No he doesn't! Tulana was very well cared for, but not to my standards so plenty to keep me busy for the season!

A very high tide tomorrow so need to be under the bridge at Bursledon by around 11, so might miss you.

Prediction is for 5m which I can just scrape under, but prefetr to have at least a couple of feet spare.
