Sea water instead of fresh in porta potty???

Switch to a composting (desiccating) head. You can argue holding tank vs. composting, but there is NO real argument re. port-a-potty vs. desiccating. I've had both and the descicating head is incomparably better. Easier to service, much greater capacity in terms of days, lighter, and MUCH less odor.

I put a bespoke desiccating head in my F-24, and when I sell the boat, the head is coming out and I'm putting the portable back.

Our little Pegasus only has room for a small 10 litre porta potti in the v-berth, this winter we modified it by adding a plumbed in outlet to allow ‘liquids’ only to be pumped overboard via the existing v-berth sink drain whale foot pump. Solids are dealt with in the usual porta potti manner.
