If you do consider putting an extended platform on it let me know - the broker who sold ours originally appears to have put the extended platform on - looks simple enough (I've had a fair amount of it apart to investigate) - I suspect they have the platforms and/or moulds. They are along the coast from you in Italy.

The extended platform looks good. I will see how we go. Varezze is 60nm or so along the coast so not impossible.
