Crossed to Cherbourg last Saturday from Portsmouth with a light NNE breeze so dead down wind. As soon as clear of the IOW we were corkscrewing along merrily with vangs guys and every damn thing trying to keep the rig from crashing around, and starting to feel a touch 'queasy', which is farely unusual for me.
Anyway by chance had a pack of those 'Snack-a- Jack' things (BBQ flavour) and I tried one of these just to try and change the feeling in my tum...
Amazing, almost instant relief from queasyness. So I slowly munched my way across, half a pack there and half back.
The return leg included 30 mins in the engine bay, whilst hove to with my head down sorting a teck problem, just about the worst sort of nausia inducing situation, once again no problem.
Id be interested in any other 'feedback' (no pun!)
