Sea Shanty sing along

Hi Guys

West Wick Yacht Club is hosting a a rag tag bunch of musians on sat even they are visiting from thier regular haunt at brandy hole, Very informal and always a good laugh and in the words of my native land "A fair bit of CRIAC" .

Sunday morning we will prob head out with the water for the day to clear our heads of the nights intake

all welcome you can sing or just take the p*&^% out of those that do (thats what i will be doing)

Hi Forumites

This turned into a good evening very very informal and a lot of laughs though the next morning, or was it the same morning, hard to tell had palnned a jolly out down the crouch but hitting the bunk at 5am put paid to that notion. planning to make it a regular evening first sat or every month (the shanty band not the 5am thing) feel free to pop along and join in would be excellent to hear how well the forumites can reel of a shanty or two

Well Jim with tale of your legendary hospitality if i had known you were showing up i would have made sure we were around to sample the delights that FC has to offer. It would appear we are passing ships in the night so to speak

In was a good evening with the first line of every song well supported by everyone quickly followed on the second line by De de de de de

Why does everyone seem to know one line of evey song every written

Still they did provide song sheets to aid those of us who have CRAFT moments (we cant say senior moments not politically correct) so back home (ulster) we say CRAFT moment
