Exraordinary! What causes it?

There was a tragedy in Netherlands last year caused by sea foam.
I was at Curumbin in Queensland just after this happened, quite a mess.

Our house in Muchalls in winter regularly got covered in sea foam. The smell after a couple of days was something else! You ended up praying for rain.
