Instead of rubbing strakes and fenders why not have the hull made from that stuff that they use on Ford Ka wings ? If you hit anything just point a hair-dryer at it and it pops back into shape ( it was SWMBO who put the dent in it , honest ! ).

Sorry Jim. You obviously haven't come far enough down to the South West. Doom Bar has a far superior flavour to Spitfire.

I think we can satisfy all tastes here. The 4 hulls will be designated Front, Back, Left & Right (Or Fore, Aft, Port & Starboard for traditionalists.
Front will have a humungous diesel with a zillion horsepower and a trophy blonde on the flybridge
Back will have leaky wooden decks and a gaff yawl rig
Left will be AWB with a big heavy keel and highly polished gel coat (if you can see it for all the be-socked fenders)
Right will be v-shaped, made of plywood and no clothing will be allowed.
Now have I left anyone out?
