We may get as far as organising somewhere to sit down and eat. How people get there is their own business.

I would like to come along and play too, albeit it if I'm still in the UK.
I have plans to head south so may not be around. ( I had plans to head South this year but it fell flat for various reasons). I'm based in Falmouth and it would be great to meet up for a beer or two!

Fowey gallants did good food while May was running the kitchen. She is leaving/has left so no idea if it will still be good.
Gallants has advantage that it can take all of us...with notice...very reasonable prices, a good bar and nice atmosphere plus harbour side terrace.

The only sharp or heavy thing at the last raffle was a pineapple. And we won it, and made chocolate pineapple upside-down cake out of some of it, and very nice it was too

Just to summarise: if it's possible to arrange for Fowey Gallant to provide premises and a meal on Saturday 7th June, 2014, various forumites will get themselves there in good time, under their own 'steam', from home ports. Some may meet in Helford the night before.
