Scuttlebut avers that one of these is to be installed on the Hamble river & that posts (previously used for moorings mid-river) have been allocated.
I seem to recall that such a device was at Portsmouth at one time but was not very successful. Has anyone heard about this and what sort of device it is?
The local avian population apparently have views which I cannot repeat this side of the watershed having already had favourite posts removed therabouts.
