Our new to us boat has screen washers at 3 lower helm screens. Where is the reservoir and filler? I can see two holes portside in the coachroof and one starboard, might these be the fill spots, if so how, hose and hope?

I very much doubt that you have 3 tanks filled by 3 small holes and therefor 3 pumps, might be wrong. When i had a boat with holding tank for washers the tank was in a locker with the pump attached feeding all 3 washers and easy to get at and to fill.

Does your domestic water pump run when washing the screens? If so, it will be using a solenoid operated valve and domestic water pressure to wash the screens from the domestic water tank. That's a fairly standard setup on a mobo.

Have you tried running them for quite a bit. Any residual pressure in the system may operate them without the pump running. Turn the water pump off and open a tap to get rid of any pressure. Then, with the tap still open, try the washers. If they still run, you will need to trace the pipework or check the domestic tank for a separate take off.

Just tried again and there is a motor heard running now but no water, so somewhere I have an empty tank I guess. May have to call previous owner and look a berk. I Still have 3 neat holes with tiny skin fittings to account for too.

I can't remember for sure, but is there a removable panel next to the helm (on starboard side) that comes off and the screen washer tank is in the void?
