normal sounding pump, no water on the screen
blocked outlet / hoses, no
pulled the pump out of the tank, nothing spilled out
ass u med that was due to a non return system so all the water would not flow out of the tank
changed the pump, no difference
put pump in a container with water, all ok on the screen
pulled the black 'washer' out of the bottom of the tank
ah, weed growing on the filter that is below and part of the black washer
weed in the bottom of a the tank, which is always in the dark with antifreeze - surprised me !
