Scratch \'n\' Splash

Did anybody have a go at their free scratchcard? I did, and would like to compare notes with other readers.

I have won £2 off tickets to the Southampton Boat Show (not bad, was planning to go) and £1 off any IPC boating magazine at the show. I've also won a great prize from Sunchaser Yachting. Now I'll HAVE to go, won't I?

What on earth have I won, I wonder? Probably a tenner off a charter holiday... but I must admit, I hope it's a free week away on a big Grand Soleil 45!!

Funnily enough I've won exactly the same.
The £2 off the ticket has no value, as someone else pointed out a few days ago. It's off the full price and undoubtedly there will be better offers available soon.
As for Sunchaser.....well, I wouldn't get too excited. It'll be someting naff like a free mug, I expect, at best.

I suspected this would be the case. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up! Frankly, the best deal I reckon I can get is going as "carer" to my disabled friend - she's from a boating family, likes sailing, and never passes up a chance to pelt about in one of those electric buggies they hand out at the big shows...
