Scratch cards in MBM

Re: Opened can of worms

It's disgusting. The Sunday Sport might stoop to this level.

Besides it seems like strange marketing practice. On the one hand IPC is expecting readership with a hundred grand or more spare loot and on the other hand thick enough to believe in the scrach cards. I'll be wary of IPC mags from now on on the grounds that if thats a scam, the rest of the mag might also be!

Re: Opened can of worms

No it's not harsh. These scratch cards do nothing for the reputation of a publication. They simply taint MBM with a bit of cheap n tackiness. I think some of the more reputable newspapers have banned them as should IPC rather than making dirty money out of what is basically a scam.

Re: Opened can of worms

I was referring to the "the rest of the mag might also be!" statement.....

I agree about the cards completely, but this does not mean the entire mag is a scam....
