Hi
I'm wondering if someone knows if there's som kind of scrap yards for damaged boats in England? Som webpages? Maybe? Looking for a windshield to a falcon spc 23 or similar? Just to find a windshield in Europe seems hard?
Tanks!

Hi

Tanks!

I was only wondering the same the other day. I need window frames for a Pandora. I came across a couple with an internet search.

Hi skodster.
Nice did you find it at some dealers? Or was it private sale?
Do you have any tip?
I'm from Sweden and not familiar with the area.
Tanks!

There are places that deal with second hand bits for boats, but usually redundant chandlery and fittings. Highly unlikely anybody would have what you want. Boats tend not to get broken up unless they are very old or severely damaged. Don't know what your screen is like, but it was probably made specially for that model of boat so you will have to find somebody who can make you a new one. Perhaps if you post a photo of what you are looking for somebody may be able to give you some ideas.

Hi Tranona
I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, the boat that we are restoring is at prototype from 2006.
The window that was fitted was a one of a kind, but I'm trying to se if there is some market out there "like in U.S."
I don't have a frame or anything so I'm just searching for a top windshield now.
On eBay there are many for sale, but the shipping charges are triple the cost for the window.
In Sweden we hav tre places that you can find a secondhand window from a crashed boat. And no one of those have what I'm looking for, so now I'm expanding my search to Europe.
Maybe there is some one out there. :)

P.s
Didn't figure out how to post a picture.

I wondered if there was a scrap yards for boats following the fire at the Windemere Boatyard a few years ago where it appeared that at least 3 boats which had been in the other end of the shed and although had been smoke damaged (but not on fire) would have been capable of being cleaned up, but when I asked about them I was told they were going to landfill. I cannot believe that 3 perfectly good boats (apart from the smoke stains) would actually be crushed or buried.
