Wondered if anyone has a boat in the Scillies this weekend, what it's been like ? Reflecting on the zero winds when I was there 3 weeks ago !
Up to 45 knots in Plymouth today.

I think he wants to know what it is actually like. This might be better:

On my pad it gives reports from buoys etc if I put the cursor on the arrows. The panel on the right only gives guesses as you put it. It works better on my PC.Er, doesnt look like you spent too much time on that page, especially the bit that says 'Real Time Wind and Weather Report'. Take a guess what that does.![]()
I was there until Thursday morning, when we arrived in the cove 2 weeks earlier there were about 25 boats anchored, when we left there were 3 of us. What did surprise me was that we passed a number of yachts heading to Scilly on our way back.
If we had stayed we’d have been in St Helens pool, we’ve been there in some rough weather in previous years and it’s always been comfortable.
Is it true all the public showers (Porthcressa and the Harbour Quay) have all been closed due to the water shortage? What is a visiting yottie to do? Eeek!
Shower on board?

Upon checking it is only the outside beach showers that are shut off. The showers on the quay are still open but the disabled one is currently u/s awaiting repair
