"idleness" and "cheerfully" though I do like the suggestion "catonia" - this was one of the better ones at the end of 5 years grammar school education. I can still hear the resigned tone in the teachers voice.

I have a little book of excerpts from the school reports of famous people, which I was given as a stocking filler last Christmas. I can't remember many of them, off hand, but three have stuck in my mind:

"This boy is every inch a fool, but luckily for him, he's not very tall" (Norman Wisdom)

"Briers seems to have some doubt as to who is running the school - him or me. If this attitude persists, one of us will have to leave" (Richard Briers, obviously)

"He has glaring faults, and they have certainly glared at us this term" (Stephen Fry)
