Do scatter cushions have a place in yachting;if so how do I stop them migrateing to the leeward bunk.

Yes. Put up the lee cloth.

Didn't PBO advocate cushions as a potential leak stopper if the boat was to be holed below the waterline?
I don't think it came out as the best but it reduced the flow considerably.
