Scared myself silly at sea last night

Thread count 1889 and rising! I’d expect a frying pan flying in my direction if I told that many people about a critical safety failure before telling the Admiral.

One would of course expect her to light it under full FAA protocol ;)

He'll be fine as long as she doesn't look at YBW. Best chance is to delete the account and create another. Thames4Blood? Who's he?

Maiden voyage for our boat was to bring it from Devon to the Clyde, wed got to the lizard and then with a force 8 southerly weather report coming in we ducked into Falmouth for a couple of nights to let it blow out, left there and it was a great day but got to lands end and the fog rolled in, had full crew in watch as we went round with about 50m visibility then a trawler came out the fog dead ahead with its rigging right out on a collision course, the man in the helm did a great job of putting it hard over and it passed about 20m off to everyone stern, my first reaction was to look and see it wasn’t trawling it’s nets then looked up to the wheelhouse, none of us noticed anyone there, the radar never picked it up and we haven’t had any issues with it, may be down to unfamiliar equipment at the time but had been tested earlier in the day. Scary when it happened but I’m glad it did as you take nothing for granted now
