Hopefully that got your attention. Cleaning is not my favorite past time, and hard work when your not 21 anymore. Some of you will know exactly what I mean. We've all spent good money on cleaning chemicals for all sorts , some of which are bl**dy expensive in the hope it will make the job easier. We'll one of the locals here in Malta suggested I try a spray chemical cleaner that does everything- really IT DOES! At less than a quid a spray bottle it brings up fenders/ inflatables/Fibre glass/removes rust etc better than anything. It's called
' Chante Clair ' Sgrassatore Universal. Think that's Italian for universal cleaner? www.realchimica.com
Never seen it in the UK, but very popular over here in Malta.
I hate cleaning as much as I hate a dirty boat, this definately helps at very little cost. No connection , just wanted to share a good find with other forumites
Ciao

Andy, anything ' naughty' in the ingredients ? It is the best cleaner I've found, apparently not ideal on the window/ plastic panels in boat covers, otherwise ' one size fits all '
Cleaned up the flybridge seats yesterday , brought them up like new after 10 yrs.

well, I'm no chemist.....

but nothing very unusual in there in the household cleaners scheme of things. guess the solvents could be a prob with some plastics.

It's actually sold as a "universal de-greaser"
