We had a gentle cruise around Chichester harbour on Saturday, taking advantage of the biggish tide in the early afternoon to poke our noses into one or two interesting places.
There were masses of sailyboats in the harbour, races all over the place and quite a few hydrofoil dinghies for whom there was enough breeze to get them up on their foils without overpowering them.
There was an impression of it being, for many, perhaps the last nice day before the winter, although we will be looking forward to some quiet winter days on the water.
