Hi...on my boat i have the above system but no power module or sattellite receiver box......i take it i reallly need both items to pick a signal up ?? anyone got the same system on there boat .....appreciate any feedback

Maybe I'm being stupid but...
I'm not sure what a Sat-dom pk6000 is.
Any more info - manufacturer etc.

Instructions (from the web site)
From their website;
PK 6000 DVB
In this model the external unit is housed in a protective, turning radome with very low HF
suppression.
A larger, specially formed offset mirror (42 cm) within the radome enhances reception.
With a self-tracking horizontal direction, use of DVB and manual elevation setting at the adjustment knob.
Orientation is provided by a scale on the housing and by an acoustic.
Using a DiSEqC-capable SAT receiver, the systemssignal (directed to the highest sound level).
are able to head for 4 different satellite positions. Recommended for reception while at berth
and during travel in calm conditions.
Scope of supply: Radome with integrated drive system and mirror with 0.3 dB Universal
Special LNB, Power Module, 10 m cordset° SAT cable with special plug, installation on
16 mm pivots (available as option: installation foot for support of the pivot - illustrated).
From the instructions it looks as though you will need a DiSEqC- Capable SAT reciever to plug it into, the dome itself is no use without it,I would contact them direct for a chat, it maybe no good in the UK unless spec'd for here.
