Sardinia secrets

Though just for the records, the southernmost point of Sardinia is Cape Teulada, not Villasimius…

oops, I was so exited because we reached this summers main destination, the south point of the West coast,
that I missed this detail,

the Sardinian W and SW coast remains to be discovered for next summer ;-)

we'r in Cagliari right now, and I like it here,
I have to say that the all people in this region, (marina Capitana, Karalis, ...) are very friendly compared to other regions in Italy, or is this just coincidence ?
also in the region everything is cheap, (but don't tell this to anybody else, or ... :-)

its a Mavic, (don't asc me more about it) ;-)

he is a professional photographer, but only a novice with a drone,
so didn't make any video's yet.

He was also very carefull not to land on water,
I was impressed how easy he could land on the bowbed of the boat.

I'm impressed with the pics he took.
I have problems getting the contract right - the white parts of boats get very "washed out" and the detail is usually lost.
I've tried filters but I'm still trying to find a good solution.

Tell him to learn to land it by catching in his hand - IMO safer than landing on a deck.

Hi and welcome (beforehand! :)) to my second home. Well, almost first, actually!
Where are you going to arrive from? That would be useful to suggest the most appropriate route to follow.
Forgive me for not expanding further for the moment, will follow up soon.
In the meantime, you might wish to have a look at the "Forum Cruise Reports" section.
There's plenty of interesting stuff that was already posted, together with pics and videos. :encouragement:
Hi Mapism! Reading your posts with interest! Sailing to San Pietro from Porto Pino and would love any recommendations or guidance on special places to anchor on San Pietro and nearby. We need to be in calasetta in a few days. We are on a 45' catamaran. Thank you for any tips!!!
