Sandtex over Treadmaster

Further to all the favourable reports on here about the use of masonary paint for decks, has anyone used it on Treadmaster? Our treadmaster is very sound but is a nightmare mosaic of small complicated areas with 2" lines of gel coated deck in between. The plan is to paint right over the lot finishing to a natural cut line 2" inside the topsides and up the shallow coaming to the underside of the teak capping rail. We plan to try a trial aread first but wondered if it had been done before before we lash out on a tin of Sandtex.

Nooooooooooooo ! it sounds horrid . Why not mask off the treadmaster and just paint that or is it not that easy ??

That would be a classic bodge,sort you see on really crumy angling runabouts---

Believe me it will look far better than the patchy treadmaster (which I hate anyway) and stained gel coat in the scuppers. Without seeing it is difficult to imagine. Anyway, what I seek is an example of masonry paint being used on treadmaster.

The treadmaster manufacturers sell a special rejunivating paint in a variety of colours which has improved the appearance of mine, not cheap about £30 for a pot enough to paint a 32 ft boats decks, easy to apply
