Sandown BBQ

Earlier in the year i put forward a suggestion of a mass BBq on Sandown beach, food ,drink ,music, beach games etc. things have been a bit hectic and not had much chance to do anything about it, anyway how does August the 16th suit everybody, obviously we will have to go with the majority and if an alternative date is better then please suggest it.

I'm cheap and available..........can we make it earlier rather than later (1) to involve kids whilst awake and (2) to allow those with a few miles to travel home at a reasonable time - possibly via Bournmouth fireworks!

Duncan , not a problem always intended to include kids. we could always have it in 2 stages, those who want to stay on later and maybe stay the night (weather permiting) have further grub, drink and merriment later on early eve.

We are on holiday at that time and may well be up for it if we end up not going too far from Hythe.

On holiday on the 16th but probably in the CIs by then. (26 July fitted better). If weather stops that, then well be there (SWIMBO + 2 Kids)
