Samsung Tablet

But be careful that a device is what John Lewis (or Currys) says it is.

My wife has an oldish iPad mini which got too slow (but still runs Navionics) so she got a new huge iPhone. I took the iPad to CeX to sell it and showed them the John Lewis receipt which showed the model number. They told me that they couldn't buy it as it was an 'international model' which therefore might not work across all of Europe. (IIRC it had a few extra US frequencies/bands but lacked some used in Eastern Europe - or something.) We remembered that it had been a very good deal at JL and it seems they had purchased a cheap batch of these International iPads from somewhere, with a slightly different spec to the ones Apple were selling here.

So if Currys say their Samsung tablet doesn't have GPS they're probably wrong, possibly playing safe - but might even be right.
