Sample of mooring prices in Med

Hi Hurricane

It was me that came in, I am sorry I didnt come by but I was Kn****rd from a long weekend at the F1 and then the trip up from Valencia/

It was nice to meet your wife though.

To be honest I know we can anchor off and we have stabilisers to keep it nice and flat but the noise they make means we reall dont sleep much in the crew cabin. The high pitch whine in the crew cabin is almost untolerable, ok in other parts of boat.

With regard to Mahon, if you get there at about 1915 you can often stay on the fuel quay overnight with the promise of filling up. 1.16€ pl

Or as JFM said the north side is ok. However you will get plenty of wash from the ferries. There is a small cala at the entrance on the right, well worth a look.

Kind regards

Lozzer

Ahh yes - SWMBO said that you knew us.
We were on our way out to dinner with Warlock (Pred next door) - otherwise we would have knocked later on.
You'd gone before we got up in the morinig though.

Anyway - nice to see a big Squaddie in these waters.

We left with the sparrows breaking wind as we wanted to be in Barcelona early doors for some shopping, not me that is..

Next time I am passing will make a point of contacting before hand.

BTW have you moored up at the Columbrettes, what a beautiful little place to visit. I might have a photo or two if you are interested.

Yes we've popped into the Columbrettes a coupleof times.
The weather has to be on your side though.

The last time we went, we picked up a buoy in the middle of the cauldrum - but we bsoon had a call from the guys on shore - complaining that we were too big for the buoy - no wind at the time so they let us stay for an hour or so whilst we had a quick swim. The water is 80m deep at that point and really clear.

The Columbrettes - when its too windy

The Columbrettes with no wind - much nicer.
