Sam sails

Good East Coast (Suffolk) sailing channel Sam Sails some of you may know him, I know at least one person who does/helped him with a main sail for his old boat.

Good to mention his channel, the more subs he gets the better
Agreed - I was served one of his videos by the algorithm and ended up subscribing. Good no nonsense sailing. Hope he paints those decks soon! 😀

He would be better off finishing the wood round the cockpit in Sadolins Filter 7

EDIT
I made a mistake I meant Sikkens
It is what I use om my launch & it has lasted very well
See #8 below

Correction see my edit I should have said Sikkens
Thanks for the link
I used Sadolin classic on my Companionway doors/hatch and had not heard of Filter 7 so got me scrambling in case there was a better product. It’s ann interesting link, really appreciate the effort that someone’s put into a varnish test.

Sam would benefit from any varnish but he’s staying true to getting his boat to a safe enough state and not losing a season because he doesn’t have polished winches
