Agreed - I was served one of his videos by the algorithm and ended up subscribing. Good no nonsense sailing. Hope he paints those decks soon!

I’m hoping we can spread the word and get him past 5k subs so he can get some YouTube $ to buy some varnish for the cockpit!

I used Sadolin classic on my Companionway doors/hatch and had not heard of Filter 7 so got me scrambling in case there was a better product. It’s ann interesting link, really appreciate the effort that someone’s put into a varnish test.

Sam would benefit from any varnish but he’s staying true to getting his boat to a safe enough state and not losing a season because he doesn’t have polished winches

His last boat looked pretty good when he sold it so I imagine this one will gradually come up to scratch.
